Annual music festival, Groovin The Moo is just about here, but how are your kids getting there?

Foot falcon? Busing it? Getting a lift from their cousin's 2nd best friend?

All great options, just make sure you have a plan in place.

BUSES

Sunbus have come to the party, putting on extra services which are covering heaps of areas around town.

There's heaps of bus stops where festival goers can jump on from, but these are their main stops:

The Ville

Willows Shopping Centre

JCU

Cowboys Leagues Club

The rides to the festival start from 10am, and they'll be taking party goers home from 8pm.

A full list of bus stop routes can be found here

DRIVING

If the youngsters aren't drinking or organising someone to be DD- they can park at the AFL Grounds at Murray, entering only via Gartrell Drive

The carpark will open at 9:30am and stay open until late...and it's FREE!

GETTING DROPPED OFF

If your doing the parental task of dropping the kids off, make sure you go so  along Mervyn Crossman Drive, just follow the signs.

UBER

This is the first year we've had Uber in Townsville for GTM so, we can't give any words of wisdom on that, but we're SURE Uber drivers will be close by in the area keen to make some cash.

Happy Travels!
