Stanthorpe locals will soon have less banking options with the local branch set to close it's doors.
ANZ has told their customers that they will be closing the branch due the fact that only 18 percent of Stanthorpe customers make use of it.
Maranoa MP David Littleproud is encouraging local customers to choose a different bank with the big four continually pulling out rural areas.
An ANZ spokesperson said they are currently working with staff at the Stanthorpe branch during this transitional period.
