The AFL have officially announced that the first ever AFLW Grand Final will take place at Metricon Stadium.
In an official statement, AFL boss Gillon McLachlan expressed his disappointment that the game cannot be played at the Gabba.
"The AFL is profoundly disappointed the Gabba surface is not able to be presented for the AFLW showpiece match," McLachlan said.
