Carlton put on a show, defeating Collingwood 7.4 (46) to 1.5 (11).
The Blues got better as the game went on, conceding the first goal before kicking the next seven.
24,000 fans crammed Ikon Park for the match, with lots more stunningly locked out.
The emergence of Darcy Vescio up forward certainly caught the eye.
