AFL.com.au report that Mark Evans is set to be announced as Gold Coast's new CEO.
Evans will fill the void left by Andrew Travis, who resigned on Monday.
"It means the AFL will be looking for a new football operations general manager on the eve of the season," Matt Thompson from AFL.com.au reports.
