Adelaide has lost defender Kyle Hartigan to a hamstring injury in their clash against Carlton at the MCG.

Hartigan was trying to affect a contest just in front of the interchange gates when he pinged his hammy.

He grabbed it in pain and immediately interchanged and sat on the bench.

The Crows medicos iced up the hammy and gave Hartigan the vest just before the last

break.

Adelaide are getting a scare from Carlton, they lead 9.7 (61) to 8.2 (50).
