Absolute Chaos In Closing Stages At Bathurst

There has been some absolute chaos in the dying stages of this year's Bathurst 1000.

After a restart Shane van Gisbergen spun out down the escape road, costing him the lead.

It allowed Nick Percat to take front position, before David Reynolds later overtook him.

At the very next turn there was even more carnage, with Chaz Mostert getting caught in a skirmish with Garth Tander and Cameron Waters. 

Tander's day ended moments later when he hit the wall, and things got even worse for van Gisbergen, who overshot the track and was forced to pit.

It's all happening in the wet!
