Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandilands has been injured in an incident that may see him in some match review trouble.

Sandilands bumped North defender Sam Durdin in an effort to shepherd Brandon Matera, leading to a head clash that saw both players taken out of the game at Optus Stadium.

Sandilands had picked up seven touches, 35 hitouts, and four clearances before going down, while Durdin had six touches and five hitouts.

The Roos ended up running over the Dockers, overcoming some early accuracy issues to run out 12.14 (86) to 8.10 (58) winners to take them up to fifth.

North Melbourne’s next match is against Brisbane at Etihad Stadium.

The Sunday Rub boys teed off on the goal review system today.
