Cinco De Mayo, one of two days which marks Mexico's independence from foreign rulers is fast becoming a bigger concept in the USA than Mexico itself.
And now it seems as though it's catching on in Australia, with a Taco and Tequila Fiesta set to roll into town beginning next weekend, conveniently starting on Cinco De Mayo (5th of May).
The week-long .... yes that's right the week-long fiesta, features a different Mexican theme each day kicking off with a Cinco De Mayo party and also including the 'My Taco Rules Championships' and chilli eating contest.
However, Tuesday May 8 "bring your appetite and thirst" for all you can eat tacos and $10 margaritas.
