Thirteen Dragons players have been hit with incredible sanctions by the NRL after breaching COVID protocols with up to $305,000 of fines on top of suspensions dished out the players who attended Paul Vaughn’s home on Saturday.

This morning on The Winter Breakfast with Dobbo, Elliott & Harley Breen Gorden Tallis played devil’s advocate for the suspended players, offering his defence.

“They do weights together, they wrestle together, they play footy together, they train together, and they didn’t go out in public. They stayed at home. It was an in-house party. I think it’s a little bit of an overreaction”

The Dragons have this weekend however their fixture with Manly on Friday 16th June will their starting line-up heavily depleted with the NRL looking to stagger the bans to allow the club to field and NRL standard side.
