A meme posted to Twitter over the weekend has sparked debate as to the correct way to make slices of toast by providing a handy guide starting at warm bread and finishing at some kind of overcooked monstrosity.
While a somewhat reassuring number of followers went for the five-to-seven range, a startling portion plumped for eight and nine prompting responses like: "I've alerted the authorities".
But if you thought that was the only toast-related meme that cropped up last week, you are sorely mistaken; people got even madder once the toast scale went more in depth.
