Nearly all of us grew up with Sesame Street, Bert, Ernie, Mr Hooper, the Count, Grover and of course, Kermit The Frog.
So, it only makes sense that Sesame Street Day was created to celebrate the tremendous influence that this maverick television programme has had upon our lives.
Today is World Sesame Street Day, not only to mark the start of the show but to bring back childhood memories and in these dark times, a bit of fun and silliness.
My favs are many but Grover is right up there, along with The Count and Guy Smilie.
