It’s fair to say that Bon Scott is one of the biggest icons in Aussie music history, and rock pub Cherry Bar owner James Young has now immortalised him in AC/DC lane.
Appearing on Triple M Melbourne's Hot Breakfast this morning, Young said that he’d had help from local artists.

“I have been working with some of the most talented street artists in Melbourne, and we are going to unveil a permanent sculpture of Bon Scott in AC/DC lane,” he said.
“It’s three metres high, two metres wide, it’s coming out of the wall, the brick wall of the Cherry building.
“Bon Scott will oversee AC/DC Lane.
“As far as I’m concerned Sydney has the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s gonna have Bon Scott.”
