Wagga MP Daryl Maguire has announced $5 million in funding for stage two of the Wagga Riverside Precinct Rejuvenation.
The money has been provided to Wagga City Council from the state government's $300 million Regional Growth, Environment and Tourism Fund.
Stage one saw the redevelopment of Wagga Beach, stage two will now create more space for large scale community events like food and wine festivals, markets and musical performances.
