Storm season is well and truly upon us, which means it's time to batten down the hatches and make sure you're prepared for all things rain, wind, hail and beyond! The Gold Coast has seen some pretty epic storms over time, some bringing large hailstones and turning your backyard into a blanket of ice, damaging winds, wild seas whipping up ocean foam on beaches, and, just your average storm light show, aka lightning. There are many precautions to take when it comes to preparing for storm season, such as:

- Having an emergency plan in place if your area is under threat
