$11 million for Wagga cycling networks and facilities

Final routes yet to be determined

Good news for cyclists in Wagga $11.7 million has been allocated towards five new cycling networks in the city, including new routes and end-of-trip facilities.

The proposed network of routes and facilities are presented in Wagga City Council’s Active Travel plan, a component of the Wagga Integrated Transport Strategy.

Wagga MP Daryl Maguire says with a safer, convenient and more connected cycling network linking the outer suburbs with the central business area, more people will leave the car at home and get outdoors.
